It always amazes me how so much of my life’s experiences have so obviously prepared me for this exact moment.
Right here. Right now.
It even feels like a big prank sometimes, like seriously universe. BUT I have asked for big things to happen, and as a woman I needed to be prepared for them right? Que the old adage – we practise most what we need to teach. Ok, I get it. I’m listening.
I’m sure you can relate.
That fire in your belly, burning with desire for a remarkable, meaningful life. You can almost taste it, and just when you think – “This is it, I’ve made it, I’ve chosen the right direction, no more second guessing”, sure enough your world gets rocked and off you go zig-zagging through life. Again. Shit.
When we are in the throws of difficult times it’s so hard to see the forest through the trees, let alone embrace the gut wrenching emotions that we circle through. Lord knows our minds can be our harshest critics, we are always the first to blame ourselves.
But why do we do this? Isn’t this life? Aren’t the times when we are down, just as significant as the times when we are up? Why do we place such harsh judgement on the ‘not-so-pretty’ moments?
Life isn’t meant to look like a pretty package.
As Trailblazing women, we are ALREADY beautiful.
We just need to see it within ourselves.
What if we took the emphasis off of the perfect moment? The perfect career? The perfect life?
I believe it is our human nature to always want more, but don’t forget to breath in all of the glorious moments that are in front of you.
Right here. Right now.
Remember, there is no finish line.
You are meant to be exactly where you are. You are BECOMING. Everyday.
Becoming. This is going to be my word of the year.
I love it. Because it is gentle. It is ever-changing. And it is exactly what living a Trailblazer Life is.
As Trailblazing women, we show up in the world with our sleeves rolled up and a grin on our faces. We have core values rooted in our guts, unwavering. We walk the talk with conviction and strength of character. We embrace becoming more of who we are meant to be, everyday.
We choose to dance to our own music.
We push boundaries and break rules. We love to challenge the status quo.
We go against the grain for the hell of it.
We intend to leave our mark and make a noticeable difference in the world, one brave decision at a time.
WE all have it in us to be Trailblazing women.
GO CLAIM IT!
